Monte Lenta - Costa Rica
Taste Story
This unique blend of honey processed lots from Costa Rica offers a wonderfully layered drinking experience. You get bright berry sweetness, and vibrancy. It offers a range of tropical fruit sensations from mango to papaya. Its body is delicately creamy with a touch of rosé wine in the finish offering a truly complex drinking experience.
Processing Journey
Honey processing is named for the sticky mucilage that remains on the coffee cherry after pulping. This process imparts wonderful flavors but also helps conserve water. This particular lot has a range of honey processed coffees. Yellow-honey process coffees have less of the mucilage after being de-pulped. The other end of the spectrum is black-honey, in which much of the mucilage remains after being de-pulped.
