Shiptown is served daily in our cafes as our house espresso blend. Espresso is a scary and confusing word for many, and often used incorrectly. Espresso is not a type of bean, but a high pressure brewing method that produces a concentrated tIt’s made to be approachable and to easily blend in your favorite milk based espresso drink. This also makes it a great option for filter brewing. So you can think of it as a multitasking wizard.

Origins

Throughout the year the exact coffees in Shiptown might change, but we’re dedicated to producing a full bodied blend with notes of chocolate, berry and a touch of brightness. We typically source South and Central American coffees for their robust and comforting qualities. So you can consider this a well rounded, comfort blend for your many coffee needs. If you love milk in your morning cup it’ll taste very pleasantly but again it’s just bright enough to drink on its own. It’s the backbone of our cafes for a reason.
