DIPILTO CLOUD FOREST - SPECIAL RELEASE
The second coffee this season from award-winning, third-generation producer Luis Alberto, is a natural process yellow catuai varietal that comes from Finca Regalo De Dios in the Nicaraguan mountain range of Dipilto-Jalapa. The farm is situated in the municipality of Mozonte in a cloud forest which creates ideal growing conditions because of abundant rainfall and loose sandy soil. Luis is well known for the care and detail he puts in at every stage, starting with optimal cherry picking at the farm level all the way through the carefully controlled 25-30 day dry fermentation of this exceptional yellow catuai varietal.

Growing Environment: Biodiverse environment of fauna and flora, with an abundance of broad-leaved trees and conifer species in cloud forest with rainfall of between 1,400 and 1,600mm
