Laayyoo Natural - Ethiopia
Laayyoo Natural
Taste Story
From Ture Waji, dubbed the king of Guji, comes this delightful natural process from the dutiful farmers of the Uraga region. This one opens with a grape soda sweetness, and finishes with lime brightness. In between that is a clean sip with a juicy mouthfeel. This lot will brew beautifully with your favorite drip or immersion brewers.`
Processing Journey
This is a traditional natural processed lot. The drying coffee cherries are moved around 6 times per day to avoid over fermentation. The typical drying time for this lot is 21-28 days.
Farmer Profile
About 35 small lott farmers of Teraga and acclaimed coffee producer Ture Waji come together to showcase their dedication to beautiful coffee. This style of arrangement is common in Ethiopia as small lot farmers lack the resources to harvest and process large quantities of green coffee. Ture Waji started building drying stations around 2018, and is now known as the “King of Guji.” His rigorous processing techniques have set a standard for his region and the industry. His natural processed coffees are plenty flavorful and stunning in quality.
