Kanzu washing station is located in Rwanda's western province, and towers above Lake Kivu at an elevation of 1900 masl. It is tucked amidst hills of of sweet potatoes, sugar cane, bananas, beans and casava. Their growing season runs from March until July, and employs 50 men and women from the surrounding area in a well organized, and fun (although still very hard-working) environment. Coffee beans are dry fermented for 18 hours before being completely dried on raised beds.
We roast orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to ship out on Fridays.
